Dave's bold line work and graphic use of color is a natural fit for his straight shooting and generally optimistic approach to life.

Sketching at airports, grocery stores, coffee shops, libraries, or the lake where his kids swim, Dave seeks to capture those elemental gestures of what he sees while out in the world. Interestingly, Dave's best work often emanates from these quirky and confident quick sketches – just needing a nip here or a tuck there – in order to be pixel ready for today's press.

In addition to realistic situational drawings, Dave truly enjoys commissions that (1) challenge his wit, and (2) draw upon his unique ability to depict the heart of a subject, in a concise yet entertaining manner. Throw in a few animals repairing watches or blow-drying their hair, and you'll discover a body of work that celebrates and appreciates the everyday moments in life.

Dave's extensive experience as a project manager and art director, along with his strong technical skills, and his genuine understanding of the design/print process, ensures that projects run smoothly. From brainstorming to formulating ideas, from concept review to sign off, and from final discussions to final delivery, Dave strives to make the entire process as easy as possible for the client.
